JAGGER'S FATHER DIES
LATEST: SIR MICK JAGGER's father JOE JAGGER died on Saturday night (11NOV06). He was 93.
Joe was admitted into hospital last week (03NOV06) after injuring himself in a fall at his Surrey, southern England home. He died of pneumonia.
THE ROLLING STONES frontman, 63, abandoned the band's American tour to be at his father's bedside, but has returned to Las Vegas where he is performed last night.
Jagger's spokesman says, "Mr (Joe) Jagger was admitted to Kingston Hospital, Surrey, just over a week ago and died of pneumonia.
"The family would like to thank the hospital for their care and support."
