Disney have launched a global search for an unlikely new star - a publicist parrot.
The film giant is desperate for a novel way to promote the DVD release of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN sequel DEAD MAN'S CHEST in the UK later this month (NOV06), but bosses won't rule out further jobs for the lucky bird, including a part in the next JOHNNY DEPP-starring pirate film.
Disney's RYAN VIRGO says, "We are about to uncover the next A-list feathered star."
Screen tests are being held in London next week (16NOV06) with the judging panel comprising Disney executives, Pirates of the Caribbean animal trainer MARK HARDEN and parrot expert PETER BLOOM.
