BANKS + YOUNG BUCK ESCAPE WEAPONS CHARGES

Gun possession charges against rappers LLOYD BANKS and YOUNG BUCK were dropped yesterday (08NOV06) leaving the G-Unit labelmates bitter about the way they were treated following a concert in New York last year (05).

The two stars were arrested after the Madison Square Garden show when police found a loaded handgun in the vehicle they were driving when they pulled the pair and their entourage over for failing to stop at a red light in Manhattan.

Prosecutors asked a judge to dismiss the charges after an investigation determined the guns didn't belong to either of the rappers.

In a statement, an angry Banks, real name CHRIS LLOYDE, says, "This whole experience reminds me of the title of my new album - ROTTEN APPLE."
