KEANE THANKS FANS FOR SUPPORT

KEANE paid tribute to their fans MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) last night (02NOV06) for being patient with the band during frontman TOM CHAPLIN's battle with alcohol and drugs.

The SOMEWHERE ONLY WE KNOW group cancelled a string of North American and European dates when Chaplin checked himself into London rehabilitation clinic The Priory in August (06).

After an appearance at the Q Music Awards in London earlier this week (30OCT06), Keane performed at Copenhagen's Radhuspladsen (City Hall Square) at the EMAs, just weeks after Chaplin's release from rehab.

Chaplin told MTV, "I've rediscovered myself.

"The fans, the love, was incredible. The best kinda support you would want."
