FEDERLINE REGRETS TIMING OF RELATIONSHIP WITH SPEARS

KEVIN FEDERLINE insists he wasn't planning on falling in love when he met his current wife BRITNEY SPEARS, because he was expecting his second child with ex-girlfriend SHAR JACKSON.

Spears and Federline met at a Hollywood nightclub in April 2004 and immediately became a couple - while MOESHA actress Jackson was six months pregnant.

Federline admits the timing was less than ideal, telling USA Today, "I'm not going to say that I planned on falling in love with my wife when my ex-girlfriend was pregnant."

The 28-year-old says falling in love with Spears was unexpected, but being a young father was always part of the plan.

He says, "I knew for sure that I'd have one or two children by now. I didn't think I'd have four children, but I love being a young dad with a big family."

Federline has two children with Jackson, daughter KORI, four; and son KALEB, two; and two children with Spears, SEAN PRESTON, one; and JAYDEN JAMES, seven weeks old.
