LEGEND GETS ARTISTIC

Smooth soul star JOHN LEGEND is building up an impressive art collection after asking a pal to advise him what pieces to buy.

The singer admits he's making clever purchases of artwork to fill his Manhattan home after hooking up with an old friend, who works at New York's Museum of Modern Art.

Legend reveals, "I just bought some art, some abstract stuff, and some collages are coming too.

"A friend who works at MoMA is like my art consultant. I just wanted nice stuff that would hold value."
