'MADONNA WILL HELP US OUT', SAYS BANDA

LATEST: The father of MADONNA's Malawi-born adoptive son DAVID BANDA hopes the tot will persuade his new mum to offer him financial support when he is old enough to understand the poverty in which he was born.

YOHANE BANDA, who earns a pittance spraying potatoes in fields, insists he wasn't sad to see his son leave because he believes he will ultimately benefit from the pop queen's adoption of the 13-month-old.

He says, "I'm not really missing Davie because we have agreed with Madonna that he will visit us in three or four year's time.

"I am not asking for anything from Madonna, but when Davie grows up and is brought here and sees our poverty, he will certainly ask his mum to help."
