EVANS PAL READY FOR LIE DETECTOR TEST

Country star SARA EVANS' former friend ALISON CLINTON has followed through on her offer to undergo a televised lie detector test in an effort to prove she's not responsible in any way for the singer's divorce.

Evans stunned her pal when she accused her of having an affair with her husband CRAIG SCHELSKE in divorce papers filed last week (ends13OCT06).

Clinton, who once worked as Evans' nanny, has appeared on US TV news shows dismissing the claims and protesting her innocence.

And now she has agreed to be strapped to lie detector equipment for a segment on Friday night's (20OCT06) ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT.
