Three months after Madonna launched her tracksuit in three colours to much fanfare, the merchandise still remains in the store suffering from lacklustre sales.
British designer STELLA McCARTNEY created a near riot at H+M stores last year (05), when she designed a special collection, which immediately sold out.
The US spokesperson for the company tells Radar Online that sales comparison's to McCartney's collection aren't fair because the designer created the 30 to 50 piece line herself, while Madonna's contribution "is just a tracksuit that we had designed."
Media reports at the time claimed the HUNG UP star had designed the trendy tracksuit as a thank you to the company for providing her dancers, band and crew members with a full off-stage wardrobe during her global CONFESSIONS tour.
The H+M spokesperson claims the sales of the tracksuit are doing "very well" but refused to reveal any sales numbers, saying the success of the piece was based on company expectations, not exact sales figures.

Mills filed court papers yesterday (18OCT06) alleging the former BEATLE had attacked her when she was pregnant and on another occasion stabbed her in the arm with a broken wine glass.
McCartney was also said to have verbally abused his wife, calling her an "ungrateful bitch", and objected vociferously when the amputee asked to purchase an antique bedpan so she didn't have to crawl to the toilet during the night.
Among a series of alleged incidents pinpointed in the court papers, McCartney is said to have become "very angry, yelled at her, grabbed her neck and started choking her" in August 2003 when she asked him if he had been smoking cannabis.
In April 2006, McCartney is accused of pouring a bottle of red wine over his wife's head before throwing the wine in his glass at her. He "then reached to grab the respondent's (Mills) wine glass and broke the bowl of the glass from the stem.
However, McCartney has broken his silence in order to defend himself against the shocking claims.
A statement released by the star's lawyers reads: "Since the breakdown of his marriage Sir Paul McCartney has maintained his silence in not commenting on the media stories believing that it was best for all concerned, particularly his children, for there to be some dignity in what is a private matter.
"Our client would very much like to respond in public and in detail to the allegations made recently against him by his wife and published in the press, but he recognises, on advice, that the only correct forum for his response to the allegations made against him is in the current divorce proceedings.
"Our client will be defending these allegations vigorously and appropriately."
A close pal of McCartney, GEOFF BAKER, speaks more plainly to British newspaper The Sun, "I would not believe her if she told me the sun set in the west, and I mean that.
"I would not believe this fabricating t**t. She wants her name in the paper and is only saying it for attention."

Police found two loaded guns in the car that was rushing the hip-hop star to hospital early Tuesday morning (17OCT06) in New York City.
Authorities claim the altercation started after an unknown man approached the 28-year-old rapper, whose real name is JOHN JACKSON, and opened fire, striking him once in the thigh.
Fabolous and his three cohorts, who have also been charged, jumped into a vehicle and sped from the scene, running a red light in the process.
Cops pulled the car over and upon closer inspection discovered two loaded guns, both of which were allegedly unlicensed.
All four men in the vehicle, including a bleeding Fabolous, were arrested. Police are still looking for the shooter.
If convicted on all charges, the men could spend anywhere from three and a half years to 15 years in prison.
The BREATHE rapper, who is currently listed in stable condition, posted $15,000 (GBP8300) bail and is due back in court on Friday (20OCT06).

LATEST: WILCO frontman JEFF TWEEDY lashed out at a stage-invading fan during a Monday night (16OCT06) concert in Missouri because he felt "unsafe" performing. The singer was half an hour into the band's set at the Shrine Mosque venue when a man evaded security, ran up to Tweedy and attempted to kiss him.
But Tweedy was convinced the fan was out to attack him and punched him.
The singer has since posted a message on the band's website, explaining his actions and blaming the venue's security officials for failing to protect the group.
He fumes, "I suspect had I felt safer on that stage, had security been doing a better job all night long, well, things would have gone differently.
"He (the fan) approached me from behind and I reacted in defense to get him away. I didn't know what his intentions were, and I had to get him off of me. I'm sad that it happened at all."

Former SAVED BY THE BELL star DUSTIN DIAMOND has stunned fans by choosing to take a cut of the profits from of his notorious sex tape instead of spending thousands of dollars trying to ban its release. Diamond, who played nerdy SCREECH on the 1990s high school series, claims he wasn't looking for a second career when he filmed himself having sex with two women four years ago.
He tells American publication Us Weekly, "I'm not an adult actor. I did something stupid in private."

BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN star MICHELLE WILLIAMS' father was ordered to face an extradition hearing on Wednesday (18OCT06) over tax evasion charges in the US. Australian police, responding to a request from US authorities, arrested LARRY WILLIAMS, a prominent stock market trader in May (06) in Sydney.
The 64-year-old flew Down Under earlier this year (06) to begin a month-long speaking tour in Australia and New Zealand.
After his arrest, Williams was released on $753,000 (GBP418,000) bail.
