SORVINO FORCED OUT OF HOME

Oscar winner MIRA SORVINO is smarting after being forced to move out of her New York City apartment.

The MIGHTY APHRODITE beauty, 39, spends most of her time on America's West Coast with her husband CHRISTOPHER BACKUS and their two children MATTEA ANGEL, 23 months, and JOHNNY, five months.

The owners of the Manhattan block, where Sorvino has own a one-bedroom apartment for 13 years, are selling the building to developers.

Sorvino moans to New York magazine, "My landlords are selling the building, and they want the units cleared so they can turn it into a luxury rental."

The actress' argument to keep the apartment was refused by landlords, because she doesn't spend enough time living in it.

She says, "You're not in New York for six months, and they're like, 'You're outta here!' I'm a little bitter! Can you tell?"
