CHEVELLE ROCKERS STILL NOT SPEAKING TO ESTRANGED BROTHER JOE

CHEVELLE rockers SAM and PETE LOEFFLER haven't spoken to their brother and former bandmate JOE in over a year, after the bassist left the group acrimoniously last year (05).

Joe quit Chevelle just as the family band was heading out on tour, leaving his brothers to scramble to temporarily replace him with GENO LENARDO, before DEAN BERNADINI took the position permanently.

And things are still far from cosy in the Loeffler family.

Pete tells MTV, "It's a bad scene. It's rare that we're ever in the same house at the same time.

"I haven't even spoken to him in over a year, and I probably shouldn't go into it too much, but he's demanded a lot of things and says if we don't give them to him, he'll sue us.

"So for the sake of my family, my friends and my own sanity, we have to figure it out. I'm not sure what's going to happen.

"But what fans need to know is that it was never easy, and it was never a good experience."
