GALLAGHER STUNS FANS AT DIRTY PRETTY THINGS GIG

OASIS frontman LIAM GALLAGHER caused a frenzy when he attended a surprise London gig by rock newcomers DIRTY PRETTY THINGS on Friday night (29OCT06).

The SOME MIGHT SAY singer joined a small group of fans at the British capital's Proud Gallery at the gig, which had been announced by former LIBERTINE CARL BARAT's new band only hours before.

One reveller says the audience went crazy when Gallagher joined the group on stage.

He says, "The crowd just started chanting 'Liam!', 'Liam!'

"He managed to push his way to the front and got on stage with Dirty Pretty Things. He just stood there with his back to the crowd banging a drumstick."

Gallagher's appearance and the volume of the crowd lead organisers to pull the gig for safety reasons, while also cancelling any potential duets between the Oasis rocker and Dirty Pretty Things.
