HASSELHOFF SPEAKS OUT OVER DAUGHTER'S 'SUICIDE' BID

LATEST: DAVID HASSELHOFF has revealed his daughter is still ''mad'' at him for calling cops and paramedics over a cat scratch.

HAYLEY, 14, was taken to hospital in Los Angeles on Sunday night (24SEP06) after Hasselhoff allegedly told emergency services she had attempted suicide.

However, speaking before the London premiere of his new film CLICK last night (27SEP06), the actor insisted the incident was "completely blown out of proportion".

He added, "My daughter is fine.

"She's kind of mad at me because I called the paramedics for a cat scratch and now she's like, 'Thanks dad, now I can't go to school'"
