PRINCESS LETIZIA PREGNANT WITH SECOND CHILD
Spanish royals PRINCESS LETIZIA and CROWN PRINCE FELIPE are expecting their second child, the royal household announced yesterday (25SEP06).
The couple's baby is due next May (07). They already have a daughter, LEONOR, who celebrates her first birthday at the end of next month (31OCT06).
The new baby will be the eighth grandchild for Spanish monarch JUAN CARLOS and his wife SOFIA.
The Spanish royal family isn't the only one awaiting the arrival of a new member - just hours earlier the Dutch royal household announced that PRINCESS MAXIMA and PRINCE WILLEM-ALEXANDER are expecting their third child together.
