LEWIS BEGS: 'SEE MY LIVE SHOWS'

Actress-turned-rocker JULIETTE LEWIS is begging critics to see her perform live so they start taking her career change seriously.

The NATURAL BORN KILLERS star is taking time out of Hollywood to tour with band JULIETTE + THE LICKS and insists the gigs are so good they'll shut up doubters for good.

She says, "The only way to get accepted as a music star, because of my acting career, is to tell people to come and see my live shows.

"Anyone now can go into a recording studio and produce a decent record but I've thrown everything into this and my performances will show it.

"I've got a proper band behind me too. People need to check it out."

Lewis' European tour begins in Brighton, England, tonight (26SEP06).
