DICAPRIO GIVES UP ON FRIENDS

Hollywood star LEONARDO DiCAPRIO has given up making new friends because he fears they'll only like him for his fame.

The TITANIC actor is fed up of strangers swarming to him because he's a celebrity, and refuses to get to know them.

He says, "It's disheartening when you meet certain people and they've already categorised you in their mind, defined who you are.

"Those aren't the kind of people I want to be associated with and I couldn't care less about having a conversation with them.

"Truth is, I don't need any more friends. I have my friends. I've a great core group of people around me and all this stuff has brought me closer to them."
