CHESNEY KEEN TO GET HIS EYESIGHT FIXED

Country superstar KENNY CHESNEY is considering having his poor eyesight fixed by lasers - so he can read the signs fans hold up at his shows.

The singer/songwriter refuses to wear glasses on stage and admits without them he can't see past the first 20 rows at a concert.

He says, "I've been looking at getting that corrective eye surgery thing done... but I'm scared to get the surgery.

"People bring all these signs, they spend a lot of time on these signs, and they say all these things on these signs and I really can't see it; I just wave."
