Celebrity humanitarians ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT have handed out $1 million (GBP555,500) each in a whopping charity splurge.
The organisations who will receive the amazing hand-out include Global Action For Children and Doctors Without Borders.
In a statement released on behalf of the couple from their philanthropic adviser TREVOR NEILSEN, Jolie says, "I have seen these brave men and women working in war zones and horrific conditions and I deeply admire them."
In a separate statement, issued by JENNIFER DELANEY, the US director for Global Action For Children, she expressed her gratitude for the Jolie-Pitt Foundation gift.
Delaney says, "Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt not only care, but more important, they are taking concrete action to address the fact that there will be 20 million children orphaned by AIDS by 2010, and millions more orphaned by tuberculosis, malaria and conflict or whose parents are sick and dying."
