MAN CHARGED AFTER GRINT PARTY 'SEX ASSAULT'
A man has been charged with sexual assaulting a girl at the 18th birthday party of HARRY POTTER star RUPERT GRINT.
Police began their investigations after receiving a complaint and have subsequently arrested and charged an 18-year-old.
Grint, who plays RON WEASLEY in the Potter movies, was celebrating his landmark birthday with dozens of guests in Hertfordshire, England on 9 September (06). He actually turned 18 on 24 August (06).
A police spokeswoman says, "I can confirm we are investigating an allegation of serious sexual assault on 9 September.
"JOSHUA LODGE, an 18-year-old man from Hertford has been charged with sexual assault. He is due to appear before Hertford Magistrates Court at a date yet to be confirmed."
