RADIOHEAD SIGN NEW WARNER/CHAPPELL DEAL

Rockers RADIOHEAD have extended their record contract with music giants Warner/Chappell, ending speculation they were set to sign with an independent label.

The band have had a relationship with the company since they first found success in 1994.

But frontman THOM YORKE let fans believe the band were heading for pastures new when he released his recent solo LP THE ERASER on XL Recordings.

Delighted with the agreement, Warner/Chappell managing director RICHARD MANNERS says, "This keeps us in the Radiohead business for a substantial time.

"We are thrilled to have come to an agreement with the band."
