CAMPBELL'S EX-ASSISTANT GOES PUBLIC WITH ABUSE DETAILS

LATEST: TYRA BANKS' fragile friendship with former foe NAOMI CAMPBELL will be tested after the British supermodel's ex-assistant goes public with claims her ex-boss stole her passport and attacked her with her mobile phone on Banks' US talk show.

Banks and Campbell came together on the show last year (05) and tearfully agreed to put their differences behind them.

But now, Banks has invited AMANDA BRACK, the ex-assistant to the woman who once made her life hell, onto her show to talk about Campbell's famous temper tantrums.

On the show, which will air today (18SEP06) in America, Banks admits she never saw Campbell physically abuse anyone and felt her tantrums were limited to verbal attacks - until Brack came forward with her horror stories as part of a legal battle.

Brack tells Banks she became Campbell's assistant last year (05) after helping the model with a broken zip in a bathroom, and she got her first taste of the supermodel's temper a month later when the Brit was struggling to address flight problems by phone.

Brack says, "When she was on the phone she took the blackberry and slammed it in my face and just started screaming at me.

"I was just crying and I didn't know what to do really, and she cornered me against the wall and she just started slapping me in the face."

The 19-year-old recalls she was comforted by Campbell's hairdresser, who told her the supermodel would apologise.

Brack also recalls three other occasions, in which she was allegedly abused by Campbell, including a time in Morocco when her passport was stolen and found floating in a hotel swimming pool.

There are currently three pending lawsuits against Naomi that are all filed by former employees who allege she was abusive towards them.
