RUBIN STUNNED TIMBERLAKE BY HIRING WITHERS' BAND
Music mogul RICK RUBIN stunned JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE when he hired soul great BILL WITHERS' backing band to team up with the pop star in the studio.
Timberlake is a long time fan of the Def Jam Records co-founder and asked him to produce a track on his new album FUTURESEX/LOVESOUNDS.
When Rubin agreed, the pop star was left speechless as the producer brought legend after legend into the studio.
Timberlake says, "He found the band and got me, like, Bill Withers' band and I'm sitting there with these legends playing in the studio and it was probably one of the most amazing experiences in my life."
