Guitar greats STEVE VAI and JOE SATRIANI are teaming up to help raise funds for the ailing music executive who discovered them.
A+R executive CLIFF CULTRERI is struggling to cover his medical costs after being diagnosed with a host of auto-immune and connective-tissue disorders that are attacking his immune system.
The rare condition is causing the music mogul severe pain and physical problems, and Satriani and Vai hope to raise funds to bring a smile to Cultreri's face.
The guitarists will co-headline THE CLIFF SHOW at the House of Blues in Hollywood on 30 September (06).
Despite his condition, Cultreri is still making waves in the music industry as vice-president of A+R at Koch Records, where he has worked with such artists as RZA, BG, YING YANG TWINS and PERCY 'MASTER P' MILLER, among others.
During his years in the industry, Cultreri has served as A+R for a number of top names, including Satriani, Vai, PETER FRAMPTON, THE CURE, FAT JOE and MEGADETH.
The A+R man has received 18 Grammy nominations. He won Grammys for Song Of The Year and Album Of The Year with BONE THUGS 'N HARMONY.
