KIDMAN ASKS HOTEL STAFF TO CHANGE LIGHTBULBS

Hollywood superstar NICOLE KIDMAN has managed to charm staff at a top London hotel despite her request that all the lightbulbs in her suite be changed.

Kidman and her husband KEITH URBAN are staying in a GBP1,700 (GBP3,060) per night suite in the Dorchester Hotel, but the actress wanted softer lighting.

On their arrival, she immediately requested that all the 60 watt lightbulbs be changed to less bright 40 watt lightbulbs.

A staff member at the hotel says, "We do get some real divas but she's been very good. There's not been as much extra work as you would expect from a movie star.

"Her new husband has been charming."
