SUTHERLAND SURPRISED BY SECRET AGENT

Emmy-award winner KIEFER SUTHERLAND was left shocked during a skiing trip in California when he was approached by a secret agent who wanted to share his undercover experiences.

The actor plays a secret counter-terrorism agent on hit TV series 24 and was stunned when a real undercover agent recognised him.

He explains, "I actually ran into one guy, I had this amazing experience.

"I was skiing in the third season and I went for a small break one weekend up to Mammoth (Mountain) and this gentleman looked over at me.

"I couldn't understand how he recognised me, so I really do believe this is what he did because I had on a hat, goggles, scarf, and everything, and he went, 'Kiefer Sutherland, right?' and he went, 'I do what you portray on TV. I don't tell anybody that normally, but this is a rare opportunity and I wish you guys would stop, because my mother can't figure out why I can't get anything done in 24 hours.'

"For the rest of the chair-lift ride up I was scared to death, because I wanted to make sure he wasn't really angry about it. He was actually a really, really cool guy."
