Dance music star BT went online to find animators who could help him realise his new cartoon dream.
The talented musician, real name BRIAN WAYNE TRANSEAU, wanted to add visuals to his new concept album THIS BINARY UNIVERSE - without spending millions on complicated filmmaking.
First, he created animated film ideas to accompany each of the seven tracks on the new album - and then he set about trying to find budding animators in cyberspace.
He recalls, "I started talking to friends - I know quite a few gifted artists and directors. Everybody told me it would cost a million dollars. I made it for a fraction of that.
"I was posting on Craigslist.com, putting up notices at universities, looking for animators and filmmakers."
The completed footage features animated robots and footage of BT's newborn baby.
