TROUT'S RADICAL BAND BECOMES A SECURITY TARGET

Blues veteran WALTER TROUT has found himself on America's Persons Of Special Interest list because he's always touring with THE RADICALS.

Following recent terrorist threats on the US, Trout's website has reportedly become a target of over-zealous FBI agents - because of his backing band's name.

The blues great's spokeswoman NANCY EDWARDS says, "Walter Trout has been touring and recording with his band The Radicals since 2000. Nobody thought much about the name in 2000. It was just a clever band name.

"In fact, in 1999 they called themselves THE FREE RADICALS before shortening it.

"But now, calling themselves The Radical seems to be generating unwarranted attention from the Feds, who have recently visited the website of Walter Trout and The Radicals some 81 times.

"Maybe the Feds are fans, but we doubt it... Either way, the Feds seem to be on some kind of fishing expedition."
