PIZZORNO SLAMS 'SOFT' CHAPLIN

KASABIAN guitarist SERGE PIZZORNO has launched a scathing attack on KEANE frontman TOM CHAPLIN after he went into rehab for drink and drug addiction.

Pizzorno accuses the musician of pretending to have a drug problem in order to seem more 'cool' to rock fans, and insists the BED-SHAPED star would be "in a coffin" if he spent time with hard-living Kasabian.

He fumes, "The guy from Keane is a c**t. He has probably had one line and all his minders are like 'oooh'. F*** off.

"If he spent ten minutes in this band he'd be in rehab. This guy is going 'Oooh, everyone thinks we're f***king safe, I might go into rehab for a week and read a book'. If he spent a day in our band he'd be in a coffin, never mind rehab."

But Pizzorno was far more sympathetic towards THE DARKNESS frontman JUSTIN HAWKINS, who is also currently in rehab.

He says, "They were huge and now they're not so that's hard to take. I don't mind that - I think it's genuine. Anyway, have you seen him?"
