RYDER'S NEW SMILE

Former HAPPY MONDAYS star SHAUN RYDER has spent $18,000 (GBP10,000) fixing his broken teeth.

SHAUN RYDER at the UK Music Hall of Fame held at Alexandra Palace. London, England - 16.11.05.

The English pop veteran, who hadn't been to the dentist in 20 years, was notorious for having almost no teeth because they had rotted away.

But after having extensive dental work, he can now smile with confidence.

Dentist LANCE KNIGHT says, "His teeth were in a state. Every one needed work. He spent the six hours in here watching MTV."
