WOOD BLASTS BORING BANDMATES

ROLLING STONES hellraiser RONNIE WOOD has launched a scathing attack on his aging bandmates, branding the group too boring.

The guitarist, 59, who recently spent time in rehabilitation during his ongoing battle against alcoholism, is disgusted SIR MICK JAGGER, CHARLIE WATTS and KEITH RICHARDS prefer bed to partying.

He storms, "They can't f**king take it. They always have to go home to rest. Instead they leave all the f**king partying up to me."

Speaking at a London exhibition of his artwork yesterday (24AUG06), at which his bandmates were conspicuously absent, Wood added, "They're all probably in bed."

A party thrown by the rocker on Sunday (20AUG06) night to celebrate the band's first UK date in three years was so wild his neighbours called the police.
