British THE APPRENTICE winner MICHELLE DEWBERRY has lost the baby she was expecting with fellow contestant SYED AHMED, just days after the couple announced they were planning to marry.

Dewberry was admitted to hospital at the beginning of the week (21AUG06) suffering from stomach pains and a series of tests later revealed her baby was dead.
Her spokesman confirms, "Michelle and the baby's father, Syed Ahmed, are both extremely upset and are currently supporting each other through this difficult period.
"They ask that their privacy is respected during this time."
Twenty-six-year-old Dewberry was selected by tycoon SIR ALAN SUGAR to fill a GBP100,000 ($180,000) a year role with his Xenon Green company in the second series of the hit show, filmed in the UK.
Her career was rocked by news of the unexpected pregnancy but earlier this month (AUG06) Ahmed insisted they were thrilled by the prospect of parenthood and were considering marriage.
