CASSIE APOLOGISES FOR BAD CONCERTS

Teen singer CASSIE has apologised to fans for her lacklustre live performances.

The 19-year-old posted a message on her MySpace.com page insisting she's desperately trying to improve her stage shows.

She writes, "I am aware that my live performances have been pretty bad. No excuses, I'm still getting over stage fright."

The star also takes issue with the fact some people think her hit song ME + U is about oral sex.

She slams reports she leaked an "unofficial" video on the Internet leaving little doubt as to what the song is really about.

She adds, "I am very upset with the series of events this week and I do not appreciate people making me look and sound crazy.

"I'm not a whore or a (bleep), which is what people have been making me out to be.

"I'm a 19-year-old girl, I'm single and I'm working my a** off!"
