ALLEN BOOED OVER DJ DISASTER

British chart-topper LILY ALLEN was booed by clubbers in Sydney, Australia last night (18AUG06) when she attempted to wow them with her drunken efforts as a DJ.

The SMILE singer had been invited to spin some discs at the trendy Home nightclub.

But after playing R+B tracks, despite it being an indie rock night, and failing to work out how to mix songs, she ended up hiding behind the decks while her audience jeered.

She then said, "I'm sorry, I'm not very good at this."

A source says, "It was obvious she was drunk and didn't have a clue what she was doing. It was embarrassing.

"I'm not sure how good Lily usually is but she made a right fool of herself. When she shamelessly tried to mix Smile, it just didn't work at all."
