HORRORS STAR ATTACKED
THE HORRORS frontman FARIS BADWAN is recovering after being badly beaten up in East London yesterday morning (12AUG06).
The androgynous up-and-coming British singer ended up in hospital as a result of his injuries, which he fears will halt his busy recording schedule.
He says, "I was walking down Whitechapel Road, and this guy stopped and said, 'Are you a boy or a girl?' - then he said it again, and I told him where to go. After that he attempted a couple of punches, and got me with third one. I chipped a tooth. I had to sit in A+E for three hours."
"I don't think I've ever been that angry in my life. I'm just furious. My nose is blocked up with blood, and I'm seeing the dentist today. We're supposed to be recording next week, so we'll see what he says and then take it from there."
