CROSSOVER

Tech (Anthony Mackie) and Jewelz (Phillip Champion)

Director: Preston A. Whitmore, II
Cast: Anthony Mackie, Wesley Jonathan, Wayne Brady, Kristen Wilson, Lil’ JJ, Eva Pigford, Alecia Fears
Synopsis: The clock strikes midnight, the ball hits the floor, the word has spread and the converted rail station is alive with basketball. They don't play for a school and they don't cheer for a pro team. They play for the street and it's underground…. way underground.

Crossover is a gripping urban drama set against the thrilling world of streetball. The story follows two young hopefuls, Tech (Anthony Mackie) and Cruise (Wesley Jonathan), who must bring every move they have to the floor to unseat the reigning champions from the throne they have held for far too long. There are no rules. Only the respect that comes with winning.

Crossover website is up so take a look at Crossover-Movie.com One of the site's highlight is the Crossover Slam Dunk game, players representing Cruise and Tech's Enemy of the State team show off their highflying moves against Platinum's top dog: Jewlz. Players go through a series of aerial dunks include Tomahawk jams, 360s, reverse Windmills, and under the leg dunks and are scored on each attempt.

THE COVENANT

Pouge (Taylor Kitsch) and Caleb (Steven Strait)

Director: Renny Harlin
Cast: Steven Strait, Sebastian Stan, Laura Ramsey, Taylor Kitsch, Chace Crawford, Jessica Lucas, Toby Hemingway
Synopsis: Privilege and beauty abound at Spenser Academy, a New England boarding school for the region’s reigning elite.

Directed by Renny Harlin, THE COVENANT tells the story of the Sons of Ipswich, four young students bound by their sacred ancestry. As descendants of the original families who settled in Ipswich Colony in the 1600’s, the boys have all been born with special powers. When a fifth descendant suddenly moves to town, secrets begin to unravel which threaten to break the covenant of silence that has protected their families for hundreds of years.

There is a very cool game at JoinTheCovenant.com. This one on one fighter game pits one of the five families of Ipswich against each other. But each character - Caleb, Tyler, Pogue, Chase, and Reid - has a special power and when users form their own Covenants, they can use an assortment of moves/skills against their opponents.
