JACKSON INSISTS WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT WAS A JOKE
LATEST: JANET JACKSON is playing down reports she'll wed boyfriend JERMAINE DUPRI next month (SEP06) - even though the producer started the rumours.
Dupri told journalists he was planning a big wedding ceremony on 26 September (06) when he hit the red carpet at the ESPY sports awards last month (JUL06).
But Jackson now insists her man was joking.
She says, "He was basically saying that's the date of the release of the new album - and making kind of a joke about it."
