BLUNT TO PEN SECOND ALBUM ON HOLIDAY ISLE

British singer/songwriter JAMES BLUNT is heading to Spanish holiday island Ibiza to write tracks for his second album because he wants it to be uplifting.

The YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL singer, famous for his gloomy love songs, has been making regular trips to Ibiza for the past six years and now plans to call the Balearic party island home.

He says, "I've been all over the world, and so many people seem to look out for themselves. And then in Ibiza everyone seems to have a smile on their face, and they all look out for each other."

Blunt has agreed to partner with SEAN 'DIDDY' COMBS on the island, after the rap mogul revealed he's also a big fan of Ibiza life while chatting with the singer/songwriter for a recent Interview magazine chat.

Last month (JUL06) Blunt's mother JANE found the singer a $3 million (GBP1.7 million) luxury villa on the island.
