CAREY CONJURES UP JAMES BOND AS PART OF CONCERT SHOW

MARIAH CAREY will be giving new 007 DANIEL CRAIG a run for his money when she tours America later this year (06) - she's planning her own JAMES BOND-style skit.

The pop superstar has teamed up with celebrity stylist JUNE AMBROSE to create a sexy Bond-style outfit - one of nine costumes she'll wear onstage.

Ambrose tells MTV News, "When would you ever see Mariah in a men's blazer? This is to give her a James Bond look. It's very mod, very sleek."

Carey will also don a "R+B superhero" costume as well as a sexy leotard and garter number encrusted with Swarovski crystals, but it's a flesh-coloured outfit that Ambrose feels sure will wow fans and be the talking point of the tour.

The designer reveals, "It's dyed perfectly to her skin, but it looks like she's naked.

"It looks like there are stones bouncing off her flesh. She looks like a million bucks."

And, talking of a million bucks, Carey will wear a $10 million (GBP5.5 million) HARRY WINSTON broach clipped to one gown.
