THE STRANGLERS bassist JEAN-JACQUES BURNEL is being hounded by the producers of British reality TV show I'M A CELEBRITY... GET ME OUT OF HERE to appear on the hit series - but he is refusing to sell out.

The PEACHES rocker has already rejected several lucrative invitations to star in the programme - which features celebrities attempting to survive in the jungle.
Burnel insists accepting the offer would be completely anti-punk, and he has no intention of appearing on such a mainstream show.
He says, "They keep doubling the money. But I won't have anything to do with that sort of thing.
"What has all that got to do with The Stranglers? That's not what we're about. We've been going for 32 years and nothing's really changed. It's still The Stranglers against the world."
