JUSTIN JOKES ABOUT GAY PAL

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE was stunned when he was told former 'N SYNC bandmate LANCE BASS had come out as gay during an interview on MTV's TOTAL REQUEST LIVE yesterday (31JUL06), because his pal had not spoken to him about the revelation.

The ROCK YA BODY singer was asked about his reaction to his pal coming out of the closet and announcing something so personal.

Timberlake feigned shock when asked about his friend's dramatic revelation saying, "Lance is gay?!"

He then said Bass had his full support, even though the two haven't spoken personally about the announcement.

He adds, "I'm proud of him. I support him. He's one of my best friends in the world.

"I haven't (spoken to him). I haven't. It's kind of crazy. I need to call him!"
