SHEARS: 'MINOGUE IS A FREAK LIKE ME'

SCISSOR SISTERS star JAKE SHEARS is convinced he was separated at birth from pop star pal KYLIE MINOGUE, because she is the only person he knows who is just as flamboyant as he is.

The TAKE YOUR MAMA singer, who wrote Minogue's last single, I BELIEVE, knows he has found a soul mate in the fun-loving Australian.

He says, "We're both complete freaks. We get up, drink too much caffeine and by 11am we're doing interpretive dance, making each other laugh.

"We both love attention, whether it's from three people in a room or the 100,000 people we're performing to. We see that in each other and get along."
