FOXX DENIES CORRUPTING FARRELL

Oscar-winner JAMIE FOXX insists his hard partying with co-star COLIN FARRELL while filming MIAMI VICE had nothing to do with the Irish star's decision to go into rehab after the film wrapped.

Foxx appeared on THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO Friday (28JUL06), where the talk show host quizzed him about things getting too crazy on the film's set.

The RAY star explained, "Maybe there was too much fun. I had nothing to do with it, man! You're asking them cop questions...

"'Where were you, Jamie?' You sound like a policeman! You know, that's what we're supposed to do!

"We're making money, we're doing movies...something's got to give! On his behalf, he's a great guy.

"You know, he's Irish, he drinks a little and has a good time...and I'm black...things happen when you're black!"
