SHEARS DESPERATE TO MARRY MINOGUE

SCISSOR SISTERS frontman JAKE SHEARS desperately wishes he wasn't gay so he could marry his gal pal KYLIE MINOGUE.

Shears has a huge crush on the SPINNING AROUND star and Minogue even had to reassure her boyfriend the two weren't actually having an affair.

The TAKE YOUR MAMA singer said Minogue had some "convincing" to do after boyfriend OLIVIER MARTINEZ found an intimate photo that was taken of the two.

He says, "We were out a couple of years ago at a Halloween party in London and we were dancing together and someone snapped a picture of us and my hand was like a giant hand fully cupping her butt!"

"She told me later that she was convincing her boyfriend I was a homosexual, he had nothing to worry about."

Shears, who wrote Minogue's last single, I BELIEVE, with her, insists he would immediately clear his hectic schedule to be able to write songs with Minogue for her upcoming album.

He adds, "Even if it means no sleep!"
