MTV LATIN AMERICAN VIDEO AWARDS HEAD FOR MEXICO CITY
Mexico City will host the fifth MTV Latin American Video Music Awards in October (06) after a hurricane threat prompted organisers to scrap last year's (05) event.
The awards show will air live on MTV Latin America in 24 countries.
Last year's (05) ceremony, which was scheduled for Mexican tourist resort Playa del Carmen, was cancelled when Hurricane Wilma started heading towards the Yucatan Peninsula last October (05).
The first three editions of the awards event were held in Miami Beach, Florida.
