MINOGUE GRATEFUL FOR SUPPORT

Australian pop star KYLIE MINOGUE has extended her thanks to fans who supported her during her battle with breast cancer.

The CAN'T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD singer, who was diagnosed with the illness last year (MAY05), is now in remission and set to complete her interrupted Australian Showgirl tour later this year (06).

Minogue, speaking to British presenter CAT DEELEY in her first TV interview since recovering from the disease, is amazed at the public's overwhelming support.

The singer says, "Thank you to people who are watching. I had letters, like gorgeous little letters from children: 'We don't want doctors to put needles in you and we love your songs, when are you back on stage?' And from women who have been through breast cancer, from women who were diagnosed after my diagnosis."
