KYLIE SAVES THE LIVES OF OTHERS
KYLIE MINOGUE has turned her battle with breast cancer into a positive, because her highly publicised diagnosis helped save the lives of other young women.

The Australian pop star, who is now in remission, was told she had the deadly disease last year (05) and her plight meant that other sufferers were able to catch their cancer as early as possible.
The SPINNING AROUND star was delighted when her surgeon credited her with ensuring some of his young patients had the best possible chance of survival.
She says, "When I was still in Australia - I was there for a couple of months - I would meet with my surgeon, have check-ups and I'd ask, 'So how are you?'
"He said, 'Oh, I've been so busy. You wouldn't believe it. I've had a 25-year-old, a 22-year-old...'
"And that was all since my diagnosis so there were people whose lives were potentially saved just by becoming more aware."
