CHER fanatics JOHN HOSTETLER and MIKE LEECH paid $1,500 (GBP833) for a BOB MACKIE gown worn by the pop superstar onstage in 1979 at the fourth annual Cher Convention in Los Angeles on Saturday (08JUL06).
Profits from sales of gowns, jewellery and photos, some of which are donated by the BELIEVE singer, cover the costs of the fan gathering and help fund Cher's favourite charity, the Children's Craniofacial Association.
