NICHOLSON TO REJOIN MONKEYS?

Former ARCTIC MONKEYS bassist ANDY NICHOLSON is desperate to rejoin the British sensations after recovering from exhaustion.

The I BET YOU LOOK GOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR founder member quit the group last month (JUN06) during their American tour, as the pressures of living on the road proved too much to bear.

NICK O'MALLEY was quickly announced as Nicholson's replacement, but he is desperate to pick up his bass again before the hitmakers start work on the follow up to massive selling debut album WHATEVER PEOPLE SAY I AM THAT'S WHAT I'M NOT.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "He has missed being part of the band he founded and wants to reclaim his place back before they record their second album."
