LES INCOMPETENTS SINGER IN INTENSIVE CARE
LES INCOMPETENTS frontman BILLY BELL's injuries after being attacked ten days ago (22JUN06) are so severe he is unconscious in an unstable condition in intensive care.
After wowing a sell-out crowd at London venue the Barfly, Bell was knocked unconscious by an unidentified assailant after getting off a bus following an argument with another passenger. Police believe he was followed and punched, after which he fell and hit his head on the pavement.
On Thursday (29JUN06), 19-year-old Bell underwent a successful five-hour operation to decrease pressure on his brain.
Police say the suspect is white and in his late-20s and might have an Australian accent. Witnesses report the attacker was laughing as he left the scene of the assault.
