LATEST: GENE SIMMONS has settled a lawsuit filed by an ex-girlfriend claiming she was slandered in a documentary where the KISS bassist brags about having sex with 4,600 women.
Simmons and GEORGEANN WALSH WARD have settled out of court and released a joint statement yesterday (28JUN06), claiming they had reached an "amicable resolution" to the case.
She originally filed the suit in January 2005 in the wake of a VH1 'rockumentary' about the band where Simmons claims "no woman was off limits" and called himself a "24-hour whore".
Walsh Ward sued for slander after her photo was featured 11 times during the show and claimed she was portrayed as a "sex-addicted nymphomaniac".
In the statement, the pair said Ward received no money from Simmons and acknowledged that he had no role in putting the show together, according to website TMZ.com.
Simmons added, "I value my early relationship with Ms Ward and wish her well."
